Harpenden Academy Primary School sits in the very heart of our town and we pride ourselves on how committed our staff and children are to our community responsibility. We're always looking for ways we can engage and support our local community with events, initiatives and activities.
This year, Harpenden Academy turns 10 years old and we have created a special challenge to celebrate this milestone, especially after such a tumultuous 2 years for our children.
We're looking for 100 local businesses and organisations to contribute £100 each. Our children will then fundraise to match (and hopefully exceed) each and every pound. Each business joining the '£100 from 100' club will get a thank you certificate, a mention in our school newsletter and a listing in our Harpenden Academy Business Directory. This Directory will be a community resource for all our families, past and present, to source local businesses to use in all areas of their lives. The Directory will sit on our Friends of Harpenden Academy website and will be promoted throughout the year.
We're proud to have such amazing and innovative local independent businesses and know that the children of Harpenden are the key to ensuring that legacy continues for a long and successful future for our town.
